TOKYO, July 26 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday morning, rising marginally from levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.03-04 yen compared with 111.85-95 yen in New York and 111.19-22 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Tuesday.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1643-1644 dollars and 130.44-46 yen against 1.1641-1651 dollars and 130.26-36 yen in New York and 1.1651-1652 dollars and 129.56-60 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
