TBILISI, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Eight NATO member and partner countries will launch joint war games in Georgia on July 30, the largest ever hosted by the country, the Georgian Defense Ministry said Thursday.

"Noble Partner 2017" will be held at the Vaziani military base near Tbilisi and last two weeks, with the aim to strengthen Georgia's defense capability, improve NATO allies' interoperability, and increase training capabilities of the NATO Response Force, according to the ministry.

Armenia, Britain, Germany, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States will also participate.

Over 600 Georgian servicemen will incorporate a full range of equipment with soldiers from the above-mentioned allies, said the Defense Ministry.
