GENEVA, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said on Friday night that the latest round of the UN-led peace talks on Syria concluded with incremental progress but without breakthrough.

"We have just concluded the seventh round of talks. We have made incremental progress, no breakthrough, no breakdowns, no one walked out," the UN envoy told reporters during a press conference Friday night.

The envoy also announced the arrangement for the next round of talks.

"The next round will take place in early September," de Mistura said, adding that he had asked the parties to have clear substantial issues on all the four topics, namely governance, constitution, re-elections and anti-terrorism.
