MEXICO CITY, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Eleven people, including seven male and four female, were killed by a group of gunmen Thursday morning in a house in Tizayuca municipality, central Mexico's Hidalgo state, state public security authorities said.
The incident was reported at 12:10 a.m. local time in a house located in the south of the state, which is part of the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico, the authorities said.
Preliminary investigation to gather clues has been underway, said local media.
According to the local media, the attack was reportedly committed by four men with their faces covered when they burst into the house where a party was being held. But the authorities have not confirmed any details of the attack yet.
