Jack Ma, the founder and chairman of the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, addresses the 2017 Forum on Rural Headmasters in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, July 12, 2017. During the forum hosted by Jack Ma Foundation, a total of 20 rural headmasters were announced to join in the 2017 Jack Ma Rural Headmaster Initiative. According to the initiative, the Jack Ma Foundation would offer 100,000 yuan (14,731 U.S. dollars) to the 20 rural headmasters for their training and improvement of leading skills. The selected headmasters will also be provided 500,000 yuan each, not for personal use, to help developing their specific educational plans, which are designed to influence thousands of rural teachers and students.
