TEHRAN, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Iran's economy and service market suffers low productivity of labor force, Financial Tribune daily reported on Tuesday.
According to an official research, each Iranian worker's efficient working hours stand at two hours daily on average.
The figure is as low as 22 minutes for government employees, the research output revealed.
Discrimination in the workplace, poor management and a mismatch between workload and salary are the main reasons for this issue.
Besides, lack of motivation and bureaucracy are other reasons for low productivity among workers in Iran, the report added.
