Palestinian PM, Chinese official discuss possible cooperation between institutes

RAMALLAH, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah met Monday with Ma Jiantang, Executive Vice President of Chinese Academy of Governance, in Ramallah, to discuss possible cooperation between Palestine and China's institutes.

The meeting was attended by Mousa Abu Zeid, head of Palestinian government's General Personnel Commission, and Chen Xingzhong, head of the Office of the People's Republic of China to the State of Palestine.

The meeting focused on various aspects of cooperation, particularly in the field of public administration.

According to a statement emailed to journalists by the PM's office, Hamdallah briefed his guests on the latest political developments.

He voiced appreciation to the "continuous support of China to Palestine political and materially," stressing the firm relations between both nations.
