TEHRAN, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Iran's exports of raisin rose 7 percent in value in the past Iranian calendar year ending on March 20, Financial Tribune reported on Saturday.
According to the report, the country exported about 130,000 tons of raisins and earned 271 million U.S. dollars.
The main export destinations were the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Russia, Kazakhstan and Spain, it said.
Iran is one of the five largest raisin exporters in the world. Its production and exports have risen significantly over the past two decades.
