TOKYO, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks opened marginally lower on Wednesday tracking U.S. shares' losses on Wall Street overnight.
As of 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 39.83 points, or 0.20 percent, from Tuesday to 20,185.26.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, fell 0.63 point, or 0.04 percent, to 1,618.39.
Rubber product, food and electric appliance-linked issues comprised those that declined the most in early trade.
