Dollar changes hands in lower 112 yen level in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, June 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, marginally lower than levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.16-17 yen compared with 112.29-39 yen in New York and 111.63-64 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1337-1337 dollars and 127.16-17 yen against 1.1333-1343 dollars and 127.33-43 yen in New York and 1.1187-1188 dollars and 124.88-92 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
