FRANKFURT, June 27 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 99.81 points, or 0.78 percent, to close at 12,671.02 points.
Energy group E.ON lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.95 percent, followed by tire specialist Continental and energy group RWE, which lost 3.43 percent and 2.56 percent respectively.
Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank and Lufthansa were the top three winners, rising 4.03 percent, 2.75 percent and 1.79 percent respectively.
Deutsche Telekom was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 281.05 million euros (316.96 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
