DUBAI, June 26 (Xinhua) -- United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan sent Monday a cable of condolences to Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain over an oil tanker fire in eastern Pakistan, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
The fire broke out in Bahawalpur district of Pakistan's Punjab Province on Sunday morning, killing 143 and injuring 156 others.
In his cable, Al-Nahyan extended his great sympathy to the Pakistani president, government and people. He also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
