SINGAPORE, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 13.78 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 3,215.55.
A total of 2.09 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.04 billion Singapore dollars (about 749.86 million U.S. dollars). Gainers are equal to losers at 218.
The STI index dropped 28.65 points, or 0.89 percent, to close at 3,201.77 Wednesday.
