BRUSSELS, June 19 (Xinhua) -- European Union(EU) foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini on Monday confirmed that two EU staff were killed in an attack in Mali Sunday.
"Saddly, I can confirm that there were two victims from EU colleagues. One Portuguese national, part of the EU training mission in Bamako.. and a colleague from Mali working for the European Commission delegation," Mogherini said in Brussels.
Two people were killed and two others injured when unidentified militants launched attack at the Kangaba Le Campement resort on the suburb of capital Bamako.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
