Iran condemns deadly terrorist attack in Kabul

TEHRAN, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi condemned on Friday a deadly suicide attack on a Shiite mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Terrorism passes all the ideological and moral boundaries and seeks to shed the innocent people's blood, Qasemi was quoted as saying by Tehran Times daily.

Following the heavy losses of terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria, they have in their agenda to insecure other countries, he said, adding that terrorist attack in Afghanistan showed that they target innocent people.

He urged the Afghan government and people to deal shrewdly with the issue of terrorism.

A suicide bomber and gunmen attacked a Shiite mosque in Kabul on Thursday and killed at least four people and injured seven others. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack. Enditem
