NEW DELHI, June 16 (Xinhua) -- India's premier probe agency Friday questioned Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in a graft case related to a popular interactive show of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held last year.

Sources said that sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reached Sisodia's house Friday afternoon and recorded his statement in the case involving alleged irregularities in "Talk To AK" show after preliminary questioning.

"Talk to AK (Arvind Kejriwal)" was held in July last year. In the program, Kejriwal discussed a series of issues, including the relations between the central government and Delhi government.

The CBI started the preliminary inquiry in January this year after a complaint was filed by the Delhi vigilance department that a consultant of a well-known public relations company was hired by the Delhi government to promote the "Talk to AK" campaign at the cost of the exchequer.

The Delhi government and the ruling Aam Aadmi Party have hit out at the CBI for questioning Sisodia in the case.

"If they think Manish Sisodia will get afraid and stop working for schools after CBI raids, they are mistaken! Highly mistaken!" media advisor to Sisodia, Arunoday Prakash, tweeted. He said that the CBI was being used as a caged parrot "to victimise voices of dissent."

A cold has been going on between the central government and the Delhi government, with the latter claiming that the former was not letting it function.
