47 injured after bus overturns in northern Turkey

ANKARA, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Some 47 people were injured when a bus overturned in Turkey's Black Sea province of Samsun on Friday, including two were in critical condition.

The bus overturned in the Kavak district of Samsun province after the driver lost control of steering, Dogan News Agency reported.

Ambulances and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured, including 46 soldiers and one civilian, were taken to hospitals nearby.

Most of the injured were treated on foot in the hospital and discharged later. However, two people remained in critical condition and were transferred to the medical faculty hospital in Samsun by helicopter.
