TUNIS, June 5 (Xinhua) -- "Tunisia is following with concern the development of the situation in the Arab Gulf in the light of the latest decisions" issued by some Arab countries towards Qatar, announced on Monday the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Khmais Jihinaoui.

The Tunisian Minister has alluded to the suspension of diplomatic relations with Qatar, a decision taken by Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

During a meeting with his Palestinian counterpart, the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the hope that this conflict would be resolved as soon as possible.

"The Gulf countries must overcome the current disagreement before arriving at a consensual outcome that will favor the immunity of these countries," insisted Jihinaoui.

"The Arab world, which is experiencing more and more of crises, will never again support division and other conflicts," he warned.
