TIRANA, May 30 (Xinhua) -- The second edition of the summer film festival "10 Nights of Italian Cinema in Tirana" kicked off Tuesday night in Tirana, Albania, with the screening of the first film.
The festival featuring 10 Italian films with Albanian subtitles is being held at Reja.al installation in the city center and is free to the public.
This initiative is aimed at promoting contemporary Italian film, which are almost missing from Albanian cinemas, the organizers said Wednesday.
"Ten Nights of Italian Cinema" is organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in conjunction with the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Tirana municipality.
The festival continues until June 8. Enditem
