Bayinchaolu elected Jilin CPC secretary

CHANGCHUN, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Bayinchaolu was elected secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Jilin Provincial Committee Monday.

Bayinchaolu was elected to the post at the first plenary session of the 11th CPC Jilin Provincial Committee.

Bayinchaolu, born in 1955, has served as Jilin CPC chief since August 2014.

At the session, Liu Guozhong and Gao Guangbin were elected deputy secretaries of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee.
