SKOPJE, May 28 (Xinhua) -- As the Socialist Democratic Union (SDSM) failed on Sunday to reach an agreement on the government formation of Macedonia with the ethnic Albanian party BESA, the SDSM will propose new cabinet in cooperation with two other parties: DUI and Alliance for Albanians, the SDSM said in a press release.
The SDSM led by Zoran Zaev,however said in its statement that the doors for cooperation with BESA still remained open.
"Doors remain open for cooperation involving support to reforms that are about to be implemented in Macedonia and over matters that are of joint interest for the citizens in our country," the SDSM said in a press release.
The SDSM added that although they didn't reach an agreement, they shared a commitment to urgent reforms for democratic and European development of Macedonia.
Macedonia hasn't had a new government formed since the Dec. 11 election.
