PHNOM PENH, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia warned on Saturday of heavy rainfall at sea over the next four days and called on fishermen and travelers by sea to be on high precautions.
According to the weather forecast, a depression is brewing over Cambodia, which will cause heavy rainfall in coastal and plateau areas from May 28 to 31, said a Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology statement.
"The ministry would like to advise the fishermen and travelers by sea to be extra-vigilant during the said period to avoid any possible dangers," the statement said.
Cambodian sea stretches over four provinces -- Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Kep and Koh Kong -- in the country's southwestern part.
