MUMBAI, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Friday. Benchmark indices crossed the psychological level of 31,000 for the first time ever on account of encouraging earnings and sustained foreign capital inflows.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,028.21, 278.18 points or 0.9 percent up compared to its previous close at 30,750.03.
