HONG KONG, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 8.49 points, or 0.03 percent, to 25,639.27 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 25,588.7 and 25,724.4. Turnover totaled 65.64 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 8.43 billion U.S. dollars).
