NEW DELHI, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jugnauth arrived Friday in India on a three-day official visit, state-run broadcaster All India Radio (AIR) said.

"He will be accorded ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan (residence of Indian President) tomorrow," a foreign ministry spokesman said. "Later in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold delegation level talks with his Mauritian counterpart."

According to officials some agreements are expected to be reached between the two leaders during the meeting on Saturday.

The two leaders will also make a joint media statement.

The visiting Mauritius prime minister is also scheduled to call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice president Hamid Ansari, besides holding meetings with different Indian ministers.

This will be Jugnauth's first visit abroad since he assumed office in January this year, Indian officials said.

"Today he will be addressing a business event organized by Indian industry lobbies," an official release said.
