ULAN BATOR, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The registration of over 7,300 Mongolians living abroad for the upcoming presidential election in Mongolia was completed, Mongolia's General Election Commission has reported.
Forty-five sub-commissions were set up for Mongolian nationals to vote for the election in 32 countries. The registration completed Monday.
Incumbent President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj is not running for re-election as he has been president for two terms.
The registered Mongolian nationals will cast their votes on June 10-11. The election will take place on June 26. The president of Mongolia is elected for a four-year term, and can be re-elected only once.
In the 2013 Mongolian presidential election, the total number of registered voters was 1.8 million. The population of Mongolia is 3 million.
