Hanshuiyuan Village developed ecological food processing and ecological tourism to aid in poverty relief. Local people established tea and ginkgo garden, bred Chinese giant salamander and bumblebee and cultivated traditional Chinese medicine and edible mushroom. In 2016, a total of 2,009 villagers in Hanshuiyuan engaged in ecological planting and breeding, with an average annual income per person of 5,260 yuan (about 764 U.S. dollars). (Xinhua/Tao Ming)
