JAKARTA, May 23 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's lifters are expected to obtain two gold medals in the upcoming regional sport event SEA Games in Malaysia this year, manager of the country's team disclosed here on Tuesday.

A total of five Indonesians lifters would vie in the 29th SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia from Aug. 19 to 31, said Alamsyah Wijaya, manager of the team.

"We will send five lifters to the SEA Games, but we still could not determine yet the composition of the team," he said in his office.

Alamsyah revealed that he was optimistic that Indonesia's male lifters would get victory in the category of 62 kilograms and 69 kilograms.

The manager said that the gold medal target was made based on the performance and achievement of the country's lifters during the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku of Azerbaijan from May 12 to 22.

During the games, Indonesia's team secured three gold medals and four bronze medals, according to him.
