PARIS, May 22 (Xinhua) -- French President Emmanuel Macron will meet his visiting Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on May 29, his office said on Monday.
According to the Elysee statement, the French head of state will receive Putin at the palace of Versailles, southwest Paris, next Monday to attend an exhibition dedicated to Russia's Peter the Great.
In partnership with the St. Petersburg Hermitage Museum, the Versailles exhibition marks 300 years of the diplomatic relations between Paris and Moscow, it added.
Last week, the two leaders holds phone talks over regional crisis such as Syrian war and Ukrainian conflict. They also discussed improving bilateral ties.
