Indian stock market opens higher

MUMBAI, May 22 (Xinhua) -- The Indian stock market opened higher Monday, tracking trends from the global bourses and saw a gap up opening.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 30,669.24, 204.32 points or 0.67 percent up compared to its previous close at 30,464.92.
