MOSCOW, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in Moscow on May 25, the Kremlin said Friday.

The two leaders will discuss the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, said the Kremlin in a statement.

Putin and Duterte will also exchange views on international and regional issues with a focus on ensuring stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region, it said.

The two countries are also expected to adopt a joint statement and sign a number of bilateral documents, according to the Kremlin.
