VLADIVOSTOK, Russia, May 18 (Xinhua) -- The third Pacific Tourist Forum opened Thursday in Vladivostok in Russia's Far East, attended by 40 experts from Russia, China, Japan, South Korea and other countries.
The forum is focused on development of cross-border tourism routes between countries of Northeast Asia and Russia's Far East and Siberia. It takes place on May 18-21 at the Far Eastern Federal University.
Among routine events during the forum are the business part of an international forum of Northeast Asia, an annual Pacific international tourism expo, the Vladivostok boat show, and the activity of "Day of a Traveller."
Discussions on various topics such as how to improve service for Chinese tourists will be held at different sessions during the forum, an annual event in Russia's Far East since 2015.
