BEIJING, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) will establish a branch campus in Beijing, said Boris Titov, co-chairman of Russian-Chinese Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development on Tuesday.
Titov expressed his hope that Russia and China would work together to develop the sports stars of the future.
According to the branch campus project manager, the project will be completed within a year of approval by relevant departments.
The RIOU was established in 2009 under the Memorandum of Understanding between the International Olympic Committee, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee and the Russian Olympic Committee.
