Leaders agree on sustainable financial support for Belt and Road development

BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said Monday leaders attending a high-level international meeting had agreed to set up a "stable and sustainable financial support system with risks controllable" for the Belt and Road development.

The leaders also agreed on broader channels, innovative methods and lower costs of financing, Xi said when meeting the press after the Leaders Roundtable of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
