Burkina's rider Salfo wins fourth stage at Benin race

COTONOU, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Bikienga Salfo from Burkina Faso on Saturday won the fourth stage, an 80km criterion, of the 14th edition of Benin's international cycling race, Cycling Federation of Benin said.

He finished the stage in one hour, 56 minutes and 38 seconds, in front of Sanago Abou and Bamba Karamoko, two riders from Cote d'Ivoire who ranked second and third.

The contest kicked off on Wednesday in Parakou and is scheduled to close on May 14 in the economic capital Cotonou.

Forty-five riders from eight countries, namely Benin, Burkina Faso, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Niger, DR Congo, Congo-Brazzaville and France, took part in the start of the five-stage competition.
