Train derails in northern Greece, six injured: report

ATHENS, May 13 (Xinhua) -- A passenger train from Athens bound for Thessaloniki derailed on Saturday evening at the outskirts of the northern Greece city, injuring six people, according to local media reports.

Approximately 100 people were travelling with the train which derailed about 200 meters off Adendrou train station under yet unclear circumstances, police told Greek national news agency AMNA.
