MINSK, May 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming said here on Wednesday that cooperation in the information field is among the most important themes for China and Belarus.
He made the statement at the opening of the forum and said the international exhibition "Mass Media in Belarus" is popular with Chinese media.
The ambassador also stressed that representatives of the Chinese media have been actively participating in this event for many years.
Over 400 print media, TV and radio programs and channels from Belarus, China, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine are represented at the exhibition this year.
The 21st international expo Mass Media in Belarus takes place in Minsk on May 3-6.
