BRUSSELS, April 25 (Xinhua) -- A meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission on Tuesday was held to address Ukraine's reform agenda, according to a NATO statement.
NATO encouraged Ukraine to go further with reforms to strengthen the country's defense forces and democratic institutions, and tackle corruption, according to the statement.
During the meeting, Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, briefed NATO allies on Ukraine's reform efforts and annual implementation plans.
Welcoming Klympush-Tsintsadze at NATO headquarters, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg reaffirmed NATO's strong support for Ukraine, but stressed the need for the Minsk Agreements to be implemented in full.
The NATO-Ukraine Commission was established in 1997.
