Australian woman hospitalized after cow attack in Queensland

SYDNEY, April 13 (Xinhua) -- An Australian woman has been airlifted to hospital on Thursday, after being trampled by a cow on a property in Queensland.

The woman, believed to be in 20s, reportedly suffered chest injuries and was rushed to Toowoomba hospital via helicopter, as a result of the animal attack at around 8:00 a.m. local time.

It has been reported that the woman was able to direct the emergency services crew of the chopper to her location, via an app on her phone that enabled them to pinpoint her location, despite being isolated.

The woman is said to be recovering and in a stable condition.
