KATHMANDU, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Nepalese President Bidya Devi Bhandari will be paying a state visit to India from April 17 to 21 at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Wednesday.
Bhandari will attend the Ceremonial Reception and inspect a Guard of Honour at the Presidential Palace on April 18. She will also pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat and visit Yamuna Biodiversity Park.
On the same day, the President will hold meeting with her counterpart attend a Banquet hosted by him.
In course of the visit, the president will meet Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bhandari will be paying first abroad visit after assuming office in October 2015.
