RIYADH, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Saudi foreign ministry denied on Thursday a recent report on Saudi intention to cancel its loans to Iraq, Al Arabiya local news reported.

Sources from the ministry highlighted dedication of Saudi Arabia to improve ties with Iraq at all levels, which was made clear between Saudi King Salman and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in the recent Arab Summit held in Jordan.

The report was published on the Iraqi foreign ministry websites and it quoted Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir.

The Saudi and Iraqi ties witnessed improvement after years of tensions when the two countries exchanged visits in 2016.
