FRANKFURT, March 24 (Xinhua)-- The benchmark DAX index at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Friday went up by 24.59 points or 0.20 percent, closed at 12064.27 points.
German semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained the most among the blue chips, whose share increased by 9.35 percent, followed by energy group RWE and pharmaceutical company Merck by growing 1.71 percent and 1.66 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank, Allianz and HeidelbergCement were the top three losers, whose shares dropped by 1.43 percent, 1.02 percent and 0.84 percent respectively.
German financial services company Allianz was the most traded share with a turnover of 286.50 million euros (309.56 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
