MADRID, March 23 (Xinhua) -- A total of 498,365 vehicles were produced in Spain in the first two months of 2017, registering a 0.10 percent increase year-on-year, according to figures published on Thursday.
Data from ANFAC, the association that represents Spanish car producers, also showed that the slowing down or decrease in some of the main markets for Spanish produced cars, namely Germany, France and Britain, have also affected production, as did the entry of new models onto production lines, which have still to get up to full speed.
The first two months of 2017 saw Spain export 420,350 vehicles, up 3.3 percent from the same period last year. Enditem
