Afghan gov't condemns terror attack in Britain

KABUL, March 23 (Xinhua) -- The government of Afghanistan has strongly condemned a terror attack near Britain parliament that killed five people and injured few others, the Afghan Presidential Palace said on Thursday.

"On behalf of the government and people of Afghanistan, I strongly condemn the terrorist attack near British parliament which claimed few lives and injured few others and also offering my condolence to the victims' families," Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said in a statement.

Describing terrorism as common threat to the human being, to the region and to the world, President Ghani said in the statement that fighting terrorism requires strong willing of international community and its support to target and destroy terrorists' sanctuaries elsewhere in the world.
