HANOI, March 23 (Xinhua) -- A two-billion-U.S. dollar project with the first casino allowing Vietnamese to play in will be built in Vietnam's northern Quang Ninh province's Van Don Special Economic Zone, according to Quang Ninh people's committee.

Local FLC group is permitted to study to invest in a 4,000-hectare complex that includes a casino, resort, five-star hotel, international conference centre, golf course, safari, museum, agricultural town community and library, reported local Vietnam Economic Times (VET) on Thursday.

This will be the first casino for the Vietnamese people and expected to serve a large number of travelers, assessed VET.

By 2020, the projected number of tourists coming to Van Don is 1.7 million person-times, including 900,000 international visitors.
