MUMBAI, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Indian market opened lower Wednesday, with equity benchmark extending losses for third consecutive session, tracking global weakness and concerns over U.S. President Donald Trump's tax promises.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 29,293.39, 192.06 points or 0.64 percent down compared to its previous close at 29,485.45.
