Chinese premier leaves for official visits to Australia, New Zealand

BEIJING, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing on Wednesday morning for official visits to Australia and New Zealand, accompanied by his wife Cheng Hong.

During his stay in Australia, Li will also attend the fifth annual meeting between Chinese and Australian prime ministers.

Li is making the visit at the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and New Zealand Prime Minister Bill English.
