RIGA, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Ilona Lice, a member Riga International Airport's management board, was appointed the airport's new CEO on Monday, local media reported.
As the airport's shareholder, the Latvian Transport Ministry approved Lice's candidacy, which was recommended for the position by the airport's supervisory board, the ministry's assistant state secretary Dzineta Innusa informed.
Lice has been member of the Riga International Airport's management board since 2011. She has mainly been in charge of the airport's commercial operations, land properties and ground services.
A tender was held to select a new CEO for Riga International Airport after the airport's previous head Armands Jurjevs resigned in January citing personal reasons. Enditem
