FRANKFURT, March 20 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down slightly on Monday, with the benchmark DAX index down by 42.34 points, or 0.35 percent, to close at 12,052.90 points.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips by tumbling 3.72 percent. Commerzbank dropped 2.27 percent. German flag carrier Lufthansa lost 1.57 percent.
Energy firm E.ON, health care company Fresenius and bourse operator Deutsche Boerse were the three top winners, whose shares gained by 0.95 percent, 0.76 percent and 0.55 percent, respectively.
Deutsche Bank was the most-traded share with a turnover of 822.11 million euros (883.93 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
