RABAT, March 15 (Xinhua) -- The second edition of Morocco-Madagascar Economic Forum has opened in the Moroccan city of Casablanca with the aim of strengthening ties between economic actors in the two countries.
Organized by the Moroccan employers' association, CGEM, in partnership with Madagascar Business Group (GEM), the program of this event includes presentations on the economic sectors, business to business meetings, and workshops on agriculture, fishing, real estate and so on.
The forum is also part of a memorandum signed between CGEM and GEM last November on the sidelines of the first Moroccan-Malagasy economic forum, held on the occasion of the official visit of King Mohammed VI to Madagascar.
During the king's visit, the two countries signed 22 agreements of bilateral cooperation in an effort to reinforce partnership between the two countries.
